The Vancouver North Shore and Suspension Bridge Day Trip Tour isn’t your typical city tour – rather, it’ll take you from the busy urban landscape to the heart of the BC wilderness! If it’s your first time here, I can’t recommend this experience enough!
Let’s kick things off with some of the most beautiful highlights in downtown Vancouver, once your guide picks you up right from your hotel lobby. Transportation is climate-controlled, so you’re always nice and comfortable while cruising to the different sights.
You’ll see Canada Place, where the 20120 Olympic Cauldron sits, then through the bustling Arts and Financial Districts filled with amazing architecture, along with the trendy Robson Street.
While downtown is absolutely one of my favorite places, I have to say that the whopping 1,000-acre Stanley Park is even more impressive. This urban rainforest is the perfect escape from the busy city, with towering cedars, a tranquil forest, and some interesting indigenous historical sites.
Expand To See More Then, make your way to the North Shore, crossing the iconic Lions Gate Bridge before experiencing the awe-inspiring Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. As you walk along the swaying bridge, you’ll see a mindblowing panorama all around you – from the valley below to the cedars above. The Cliffwalk is not for the faint of heart but offers the most breathtaking views. Don’t miss out on the First Nations artwork, and plenty of lessons in the historic Story Centre with over 130 years of tales to tell. Once you cross over to the other side, you’ll have an adrenaline-packed experience at the Treetops Adventure that takes you right to the canopy of the rainforest.
