It’s 140-meter (460-foot) long bridge that is suspended 70 meters (230 feet) high over the Capilano River. The bridge was first made of hemp ropes and cedar planks but was quickly rebuilt with wire cables in 1903.
What else is there to do at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park?
There is more here than the bridge. There is an adventure park with a variety of activities. There is a rainforest canopy on the Treetops Adventure, a series of seven suspended footbridges that are 110 feet high. There is a walk along the Cliffwalk.
