FAQs About Tours We Review
Most of the questions we get come up before anyone books, so we have answered them here in plain language. If something is not covered, send us a message and a real person will get back to you.
Booking, Prices, and Changes
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. You can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before your tour begins, and moving to another date is free while spots are open.
Plans shift when you travel, and you should not be stuck paying for a tour you can no longer make.
What is included in the price, and are there any hidden fees?
The price you see is the price you pay. Every tour includes the following.
- Your guide for the full tour
- All entrance fees along the route, (unless specified)
- [Tastings or samples, if your tour has them]
- Local taxes
There are no service charges added at checkout and nothing you are required to buy on the day.
How do I book, and is my payment secure?
You can book any available date on this page in a couple of minutes. Payment runs through a secure encrypted checkout, and your confirmation arrives by email right away.
How do I know my booking is real once I have paid?
You will get an instant email confirmation with your tour details and a direct contact number. They are a licensed local operator and have been operating since 1995, and you can reach a real person before your tour if you have any questions.
The Tours Themselves
Why book a guided tour instead of exploring on my own?
A good guide shows you the things a map and a quick search never surface. You skip the wrong turns and the tourist traps and spend your limited time on what is actually worth seeing.
How big are the groups?
Most tours are groups of 12 people. That means you can hear your guide clearly and ask whatever you want as you go. If it’s a larger tour, headsets will be provided.
Who are the guides?
Your guide is a licensed local who knows the area firsthand, not someone reading off a script. They lead the tour in fluent English (other languages available) and are the same people their past travelers name in their reviews.
How do I know what the tour is actually like?
The honest answer is to read what other travelers say. The reviews on Google and TripAdvisor come from people who booked and went, with their names and dates attached.
What languages are the tours offered in?
The tours run in English as standard. If you need another language, message them before booking and they will tell you what they can arrange.
Before You Go
How fit do I need to be for walking or other tours that are active and is the tour right for kids or older travelers?
The pace is easy for most tours and the routes cover mostly flat, terrain with regular stops to rest. Families and older travelers join often, and you are welcome to message the tour operator first if you have a specific concern.
Can you handle dietary restrictions or accessibility needs?
Tell the tour operator about any dietary needs or mobility requirements when you book or by message. They will do what they reasonably can to make the tour work for you, and they will be straight with you if part of the route is difficult.
Where do we meet, and what if I am running late?
When you book, you get the exact meeting point with a map pin and a photo of the spot. You also get a number you can text on the day, so a late train does not have to mean a missed tour.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Most tours run rain or shine, and they will let you know in advance if anything needs to change. If they ever have to cancel for safety, you get a free reschedule or a full refund.
What if only a few people book my date?
Your tour runs as booked. If something on our end ever forces a change, they will move you to another time at no cost or refund you in full.
Will there be any pressure to buy extras or visit shops?
No. There are no shopping stops, no upsells, and no sales pitch, just the tour you paid for.
Do I need to tip the guide?
Tipping is never expected. If you had a great time and want to leave something your guide will appreciate it, and it is completely fine if you do not.
