Clocking in at around 1 hour and 30 minutes and taking place in the evening, it’s perfect if you have a day full of plans already. There are plenty of different start times available and our guide was super flexible with our schedule, which was very appreciated.

You’ll meet 15 minutes before your departure time, with your guide and the rest of your small group, setting off while led by candlelight, creating a vibe that almost feels like you’ve traveled back in time to when many of these incidents took place.

Get ready for the next stop, which for me is the scariest – the Colonial Park Cemetery – the oldest burial ground in the city. It’s understandable why it’s the longest stop on the tour, as there’s just SO much to see and learn about!

The tour ends on a slightly less spooky stop: McDonough’s Bar, where we had some laughs and drinks, for a more lighthearted finish.
